Mansounia Gold Project

Mansounia is a large-tonnage, low-grade gold target with a near-surface sheet-like saprock resource.

There is potential for additional low grade gold resources within the licence area within three separate targets and for higher grade resources at Mansounia within narrower, steeply dipping, feeder structures below the current level of drill tested resources.

Results from 1,758 metres of core drilling, 22,980 metres of reverse circulation drilling and 2,977 metres of rotary air blast drilling on the property have been used by independent geological consultants, Runge Limited, to model the gold mineralisation and generate a JORC compliant resource estimate.

Depending on the gold cut-off grade used, the resource is estimated to contain from 222,100 ounces of gold to more than 1 million ounces.

Burey has completed infill and extension reverse circulation and diamond core drilling at Mansounia consisting of 60 holes for 5.884 metres. Results included:

•    13m @ 3.40 g/t Au from 71m
•    18m @ 3.00 g/t Au from 32m
•    13m @ 1.82 g/t Au from 33m
•    2m @ 9.11 g/t Au from 5m

Burey believes the results provide support for committing to a development study for the Mansounia gold deposit.

The drilling program also included 14 RC holes for 1,446m and two DD holes for 325m to explore The Magnificent gold prospect, which is 6km south-southeast of Mansounia. Only weak mineralisation was intersected but extensive carbonate and silica alteration observed is encouraging and warrants a follow-up drill testing program.
